Pioneering computer scientist Dennis
Ritchie has died on october 12, 2011 at New Jersey, US, after a long
illness. He was the creator of 'C' programming language. He is also known as
'Father of C'. He also played a key role in the development of Unix operating
System at Bell Labs during 1960s and 70s. Unix was the OS of choice for the
internet and it is familiar to almost every modern-day developer.
